The Fox Corporate Experience

Wondering our process for corporate events? Our corporate event production includes technical design and planning, audio, video, and lighting equipment setup, recording, technical staffing and post production wrap up.

Step one, we meet (or schedule a call) with your team to develop the concept and goals for your event. Working within a budget? No problem, we are willing to work with you on pricing options. Next, we do a site visit! This is important in order for us to create a floor plan. Then, we will present the very best equipment and staffing solutions that best match your budget and the specifics of your event space.

Our team continues to work with you, once the event is confirmed, to schedule and coordinate rehearsals/deliveries. We’re also prepared to make any last minute adjustments to make your event a total success. AV team members operate audio, video, and lighting equipment while maintaining contact with you throughout the event!

Once the event is over we breakdown, pack, and remove all audio visual equipment, it’s like we were never there! Our AV team will help you edit and create  clips to use in the future!

Fox’s Top 3 NYE Celebration Ideas

Where did 2019 go? If you are like us, it was a year of major growth. Some bumps in the road but all in all an AMAZING year. Tonight, we pop the bubbly and say “ciao” to the old while ringing in the new! Here are our top 3 Charleston NYE Celebrations!

Our sweet friends over at The Cedar Room are throwing a lovely bash full of heavy hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, midnight champagne toast, and live music by the Kerwin L. Felix Band and DJ Wade.

We couldn’t leave out our friends over at The Inn at Middleton Place! Their Roaring 2020 Gala is sure to be over the top! This event is for adults over 21 only. If you don’t have a designated driver, please consider using Charleston Green Taxi, Uber or Lyft.

Last but not least, Yorktown Countdown NYE 2020! Guests will enjoy 3 different stages with amazing production showcasing Charleston’s top performing artists and live entertainers! Light nosh and top shelf cocktails are also available at this amazing event. Heated tent spaces along with Charleston’s BEST views!

This event will include local cuisine, cocktails galore and multiple stages with live entertainment!Guests can explore the USS Yorktown with 15,000 ft² of heated tent space on the flight deck!

The Parade of Boats! Jump on board with an amazing Lowcountry holiday tradition! This annual display of lighted and festive boats, which proceed through the Charleston Harbor, is an event you won’t want to miss. View the procession along Charleston’s waterfront or decorate your own boat and join the parade!

The Belmond Charleston Place is the epitome of sophistication! The highlight of their festive decorations is a miniature replica of the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express train nestled under the hotel’s signature Georgian open arm staircase. This is something you won’t want to miss seeing!

‘Tis the season for female empowerment! We are so excited to be part of TEDx women’s event! Event mastermind, Lisa Berry, shares some of her thoughts with us.

3 Summerville Holiday Happenings You Won’t Want to Miss!

Summerville Skates, courtesy of Summerville Dream, is a temporary ice rink located in the Summerville community! Summerville Skates is a wonderful facility for to enjoy a family night, skate with friends or celebrate a special winter occasion. January 11th is the last day to take advantage of this amazing activity!

Town of Summerville Christmas Tree Lighting is sure to be a perfectly “lit” event! This Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration will be Tuesday, December 3, 2019 from 5 – 8:30 p.m. at Hutchinson Square

Christmas Parades are always a good time, ya’ll! 5 days post tree lighting, the Summerville Christmas Parade will commence! Sunday, December 8 from 2:00pm-4:00pm, in the beautiful Historic Summerville area…be there or be square!

Using Hotel AV is Not Required

This lovely little blog post is just a friendly reminder…YOU DO NOT HAVE TO USE HOTEL AUDIO VISUAL SERVICES!

Some venues make commission when booking audio visual services through a provider they have contracted with. If you bring in your preferred provider they don’t get that incentive pay. This is why they push for clients to use “their team”.

A hotel cannot prohibit you from bringing in equipment or av technicians provided they are within local safety standards laws and you are not mounting equipment on walls or ceilings. Be sure to have any clause removed that restricts your rights to bring in your vendor of choice! Before signing anything for a hotel meeting room rental get this clause added to all contracts.

Contracting an outside audio visual provider makes you the top priority. Should you choose to go with hotel av, just keep in mind the likelihood of other events going on at the same time is high. Hotel av contracts limit competition, which means they’ll provide poorer service and less value than an outside company can provide. More room for error when using the hotel av.

Hotels are sneaky with their attempts to hide charges! Your full service audio visual production team will be able to bring in a MiFi FCC clearly states: No one can ban you from bringing in your own MiFi devices or blocking their signals.

Better service, clearer sound, more knowledgeable technicians? Sounds like bringing in your own av team is the safest solution for your event!
